Oakwood Premier Melbourne

Enjoyed my stay. Room clean and modern. Bed comfortable. Bathroom tiny but good shower. Mostly quiet, with the exception of some noisy guests in the hallway late at night. One big problem: cannot call down to reception/room service at all. Phone just stays on hold, then looping back to main menu. Bad service and potential safety issue. If you want room service, it's impossible to order via phone, so better off using a delivery app. Otherwise, a good hotel with reasonable (for Australia) rates.

Me and my partner stayed here for 8 nights recently and had an amazing stay!! The rooms were nice and clean, comfy beds too. Housekeeping became a little sloppy after the 4th night but there may have just been different people on shift? 1 of the housekeeping ladies was the nicest person I have met at this hotel, I had a chat with her as she entered to clean the room and explained we had accidentally booked twin beds but had just pushed them together ( which was no issue ). She explained to me that she had previously made the same mistake with her family!! We laughed and the following day I met the lady again and she had given us a king blanket as opposed to the 2 singles to share the bed. This small detail made the rest of our stay, she was amazing. Breakfast at the hotel was nice, different options, coffee machines, omelettes of your choice cooked fresh. Only downsides to staying in this hotel was the elevators taking a long time. Even in quiet hours the elevators took upwards of 10 minutes just to pick/drop you at another floor. Also be mindful if you are a young family/couple/group of friends this hotel is mostly people staying for business and we got a lot of rude comments/looks towards us. Although this is not the hotels fault it made it less enjoyable for us

What a great experience I would highly recommend staying at the Oakwood Premier in Melbourne. The room was amazing. we stayed in the executive suite,The hotel was amazing, clean, and attention to detail was impeccable and the staff and service were 5 stars from the check-in to the bar in the lobby to the breakfast. The service in the fivth restaurant was great! Will definitely be booking again on our next visit.
